The real White Shoal Lighthouse, built west of the Straits of Mackinac in Lake Michigan near Mackinaw City, Michigan, went into operation in 1910. It was automated in 1976 , and is now cared for by the White Shoal Light Historical Preservation Society. Back to the edition of: Sep/Oct 2022
