This lighthouse was constructed after the rebuilding of the pier; the original pier was destroyed in a great blizzard in 1891. Tower Height: 27 Height of Focal Plane: 30 Characteristic and Range: Two white flashes every 10 seconds, range 12 nautical miles. Description of Tower: White, hexagonal cast iron tower, black lower portion.
