Notes: This lighthouse replaced an 1814 lighthouse that was built too high and was often obscured by clouds. Tower Height: 100 Height of Focal Plane: 236 Characteristic and Range: 2 white flashes every 10 seconds, also exhibited by day when the fog signal is sounding; nominal range 25 nautical miles. Description of Tower: Conical tower with alternating black and white horizontal bands.
