Photo Caption:

Crisp Point Lighthouse near Paradise, Michigan as it once looked. Jacob Harry Gibbs was the lighthouse keeper here from March of 1911 to April of 1913 when he left for health reasons. In 1965 the United States Coast Guard demolished the keeper’s house and all the other out-buildings at the site. (Lighthouse Digest archives.)
