Notes:
The NGA's "Sailing Directions" indicate there is a "disused light structure" near the lighthouse, presumably the first light. This may also be the ruins of the Bom Jesus Lighthouse (Cal de Bom Jesus) referred to in the tourism publicity of some Angolan embassies in Europe.

Characteristic and Range: Four white flashes every 12 seconds, visible for 16 nautical miles.

Description of Tower: White square tower.
