Notes:
After the light was automated in 1953, the keeper's house was torn down and the lens went to Point Loma Light. The light tower remained in operation until 1972. It was restored and moved to Woodley Island in 1987. It is now at the Woodley Island Marina, part of the Humboldt Bay Harbor Recreation and Conservation District. The original lighthouse site ("Lighthouse Ranch") is now owned by the Bureau of Land Management. In 2012 the BLM demolished all of the remaining historic buildings at the site.

Open To Public? Grounds only.

Directions:
To the Woodley Island Marina: From Highway 101 in Eureka, take Highway 255 to Samoa. Take Woodley Island exit to Startare Drive. Follow to the end; the lighthouse is in the parking lot of the marina.
