Notes:
Originally (1891), there were three pile lighthouses marking the new channel in Belfast Bay. No. 2 Lighthouse was destroyed when a ship (the Medway) collided with it in November 1892; the lighthouse was never rebuilt. By 1904, only one lighthouse remained active.
