Notes:
This light was established to replace the light on Eclipse Island. When it was found that the light was obscured by Eclipse Island, the old light was relit and this one was extinguished. The tower now serves as a receiver station used by AussSAR (Australian Search and Rescue) as part of the international Cospas-Sarat distress beacon system.
