Notes:
As of late 2003, this station is staffed by four "marinos" from the Chilean Navy, who spend four months there before being replaced by a new crew. The current uses of the station include monitoring of marine traffic and providing assistance to vessels passing by.

Characteristic and Range: Flashing white every 10 seconds, visible for 19 nautical miles.

Description of Tower: White round fiberglass tower, two-story dwelling.

This light is operational

Current Use: Active aid to navigation.

Open To Public? No.

Directions:
Although the station is not officially open to the public, word is that the staff would welcome anyone who came to visit them at this very difficult-to-reach island.
