Notes:
This lighthouse was modeled after Florida's reef lights. Since the keepers were removed, the tower has been neglected and has fallen into disrepair. It has also developed a list to one side. There is now discussion of dismantling the tower and moving it to the town of Berwick.

Description of Tower: Octagonal, pyramidal cast iron skeleton tower on screw pile foundation.
