A large crowd of children, with their families, lined up for the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the historic Port Isabel lighthouse in Port Isabel, Texas.

Valerie Bates, Manager of the Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historic Site said, “It’s not much of a hide. It’s more like an egg scramble, but we found it a great backdrop for an event like this.” And, of course, a costumed full-sized Easter Bunny was on hand to greet the kids and for some great photo ops.

Maybe next year the lighthouse will beat out the 30,000 Easter Egg Hunt that was held this Easter at the White House. (Photo courtesy Port Isabel Lighthouse Historic Site)
