The Next Generation
Shown here are the next generation of lighthouse preservationists Clara and Thomas Graham at the Howth Harbor Lighthouse in Ireland. They are the grandchildren of Jack and Tobi Graham. Jack is a columnist for Lighthouse Digest who also does the “From the Bulletin” that appears in each issue. (Photo by Jove Graham.)

Chloe’s 100th Lighthouse
10-year-old Chloe with Lisa and Chris Ammons holding her 100 numbered poster cards showing that she had now visited an amazing 100 lighthouses. The family is shown by Wisconsin’s Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse this past August 14th. Chloe is part of the next generation of lighthouse preservationists.

Distinguished Keeper
This distinguished looking man in a lighthouse keeper’s uniform is Ronald Gilmore, who was a caretaker at Michigan’s Point Iroquois Lighthouse from 2013 to 2016. In 2015 the U.S. Forest Service, which owns the Point Iroquois Lighthouse, honored him and his wife Karen as Volunteers of the Year.
