The U.S. Lighthouse Service Lighthouse Keeper’s Memorial Marker at the tombstone of Lucius Davis. It was the first time in history that a marker had been placed at the gravesite. The words on the tombstone read, “Not Lost But Gone Before. T’will Be Sweet To Meet That Blessed Shore, All Sorrow Passed, All Pain Forever O’er.” Back to the edition of: Jul/Aug 2015
