Little Traverse, Michigan The fog bell tower that resembles the Whitestone Point Lighthouse was built in 1896 at the Little Traverse Lighthouse in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The Little Traverse Lighthouse, also known as the Harbor Springs Lighthouse, was built on Little Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan in 1884. Today it is privately owned, but its historic bell tower still stands.
