The Point Bonita fog signal cannon is shown here with a young man who was presumably a cannoneer. The wheels of the cannon carriage are shown imbedded in the ground, perhaps to prevent the cannon from going over the bluff. Another set of wheels and carriage can be seen in the background. Perhaps these were old ones or used for replacements.
