West Sister Island Lighthouse as it appeared in 1904 when Charles Duggan was the lighthouse keeper. He served here from 1903 until 1908 when he was transferred to South Bass Island Lighthouse where he served until he died in 1925. The lighthouse was constructed in 1868 to replace an earlier tower that had been built in 1821. (Lighthouse Digest archives)
