Hazel Eaton Reis (l) is shown here on August 28, 1938 with Beatrice Houdini, widow of famous magician Harry Houdini. The two were close personal friends, and at least once, held a séance in an attempt to contact Harry Houdini in the after-life. Hazel retired to her Rainbow Farm in Yarmouth, Maine, where she lived until 1958 when she moved to Mt. Dora, Florida for health reasons, where she died on December 22, 1970.
