Both George McGinitie (b.1887) and Clarence B. Langlois (b.1886) served together as surfmen at the Bandon Life-Saving Station. Clarence was also an assistant keeper at Coquille River in 1906 while George later served at Cape Blanco Lighthouse under his father-in-law James S. Langlois from 1918-1920.
