Stretch
Over the years there were a number of mascots associated with the Los Angeles Harbor Lighthouse. This one was a black Labrador named Stretch who served there after a German shepherd dog named King. When Coast Guard keeper Kent Knierim left the Los Angeles Harbor Lighthouse in the late 1960s, the dog went with him and lived the rest of his days as the family pet. (Knierim Family collection.)
