Photo Caption:

The lighthouse tender Columbine, built in 1892, was definitely a boon to the district and helped take some of burden off of the overworked Manzanita. It served for many years in the 13th district before being sent to the 5th and then 9th district later on. This photo is circa 1900. (Courtesy of Jim Gibbs Collection)
