Boston Lighthouse keeper Maurice Babcock, Sr. and his family at Boston Lighthouse. They lived at the lighthouse for 15 years, from 1926 to 1941. Maurice Babcock, Sr. had previously been a lighthouse keeper at Thacher Island Lighthouse, Bird Island Lighthouse, and Gay Head Lighthouse, both in Massachusetts.
